Rama, the promised child of Rajah d’Ahyodya, is the main character of the Wayang Wong . One day, the Wise One Vishvamitra, aware of the Godly origins of Rama, asked him to help him fight the demons Merica and Subahu (Ravana’s subjects), who prevent an important sacrificial ritual to take place by desecrating the altar.
