Character of the Wayang Wong, Penasar Delem was created during the 1800. It’s first function as it’s name says it, is being the narrator of the play just as Penasar Kelihan. This mask is very precious and not much used nowadays. It can be linked to Delem’s mask because of it’s use and because of it’s loyalty to Rawana.In the 30’s it was used in Bondres Topeng’s play, where it kept its narrator function mostly and was well known for its bad temper.
